GSK Research & Development Hub – Stevenage

The GSK R&D Hub in Stevenage is a major framework of works upgrading and expanding the company’s pharmaceutical research facilities to support innovation and scientific development. The programme encompasses laboratory refurbishments, cleanroom installations, M&E upgrades, and infrastructure improvements, all delivered within a live operational environment.

We led the commercial function across the £300m framework, managing a team of ten and overseeing a portfolio of more than 35 projects. Our responsibilities included cost forecasting, procurement, subcontract administration, change management, and earned value reporting under the NEC4 framework. The focus was on achieving cost efficiency, commercial transparency, and value delivery across the entire programme.
